The Noble Way - December 2012

Pritzker Cadets Distribute Toys for Tots

Each year Noble students complete over 80,000 hours of community service with many campuses going the extra mile around the holidays to give back to their communities. The Pritzker College Prep Marine Corps Junior ROTC cadets spent the month of December working with Toys for Tots. Over a two day span, 164 Pritzker cadets assisted in collecting, sorting and distributing toys to thousands of needy children throughout Chicago. On December 13, a group of Pritzker's MCJROTC cadets, along with 10 classmates, went to the Nixon Grammar School to hand out cards and toys to a third grade classroom. The cadets will continue their work with Toys for Tots on December 21 when they head to the US Marine Reserve Center to assist in handing out toys to single mothers and women from shelters on the northwest side of Chicago.
